Bio

The Honourable E.P. Chet Greene is a distinguished statesman, diplomat, and parliamentarian whose leadership has significantly shaped Antigua and Barbuda’s presence on the global stage. With more than 17 years of parliamentary experience, he currently serves as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Barbuda Affairs, where he has played a vital role in strengthening international partnerships, advancing regional cooperation, and positioning Antigua and Barbuda as a respected voice in global diplomacy.


Under his leadership, the nation successfully hosted major international gatherings, including the 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States in 2024 and the 55th Organization of American States General Assembly in 2025, while also preparing for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in 2026. His diplomatic work spans engagement with organizations such as the United Nations, CARICOM, the Organization of American States, and the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States.


Beyond politics, Minister Greene is widely recognized for his decades-long contribution to sports leadership and administration. As President of the Antigua and Barbuda Olympic Committee and Commonwealth Games Federation, he continues to champion unity, youth empowerment, and excellence through sport.
