Stephen D. Pullum is a globally recognized authority in Artificial Intelligence and cybersecurity, with more than 40 years of experience shaping innovation, governance, and security across both public and private sectors. He is the Founder of AfricurityAI and serves as Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO), where he focuses on advancing responsible AI adoption, cybersecurity resilience, and emerging technology integration.
His distinguished career includes 27 years of service in the United States Air Force, where he led Defensive Cyber Operations and received commendations including the USAF Commendation Medal and Achievement Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters. He holds multiple foundational and advanced security certifications, including CISSP, CISA, and GSEC, reflecting his long-standing expertise in information security and risk management.
Stephen has been widely recognized for his contributions to AI and cybersecurity, including being named among CIO Today’s “Top 100 Innovators & Entrepreneurs,” “Top 5 AI Leaders Driving Impact in 2024,” and “Top 50 Global Icons 2026.” His work has also been featured across global media platforms and thought leadership forums.
