Shankar Narayanan SGS is an award-winning technology leader and Principal Architect at Microsoft, recognized for his contributions to artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and enterprise data engineering. With more than a decade of experience driving large-scale digital transformation, he currently leads the Snowflake Platform ISV team at Microsoft, where he architects advanced AI and data solutions that help enterprises build scalable, cloud-native systems.

Known for bridging the gap between emerging technologies and practical business impact, Shankar has played a key role in expanding enterprise adoption of AI and modern data platforms. At Microsoft, he founded and scaled the Snowflake ISV engineering practice, delivering solutions adopted by numerous enterprise customers and accelerating cloud transformation initiatives across industries.

Shankar is also a recognized thought leader and co-author of The Ultimate Guide to Snowpark, widely regarded as a foundational resource on Snowflake’s Snowpark platform.
