Bio
Pritam Debnath is Senior Director of Engineering at Sysco Corporation, where he leads global technology strategy, architecture, and delivery for Merchandising and Inbound Supply Chain systems. He also heads Sysco’s global AI and Automation platform, driving the company’s transition toward an AI-first enterprise.
With over 20 years of experience in engineering and technology leadership, Pritam has built his career at the intersection of digital transformation, enterprise modernization, and applied artificial intelligence. He began his journey at Sysco as a consultant mainframe programmer, where he contributed to the development of the company’s first electronic purchase order management system.
Over the years, he has played a key role in major transformation initiatives, including SAP data migration across finance, procurement, and master data management functions. He has also led one of Sysco’s most critical modernization efforts, the migration of legacy mainframe systems to AWS, enabling scalable and cloud-native capabilities across the enterprise.
Today, Pritam continues to drive Sysco’s digital transformation across merchandising and supply chain ecosystems, while also leading core ERP modernization and enterprise agentic AI initiatives that support intelligent automation and decision-making.
His contributions have earned multiple recognitions, including Infosys Awards for Excellence, Sysco’s Technology Architect of the Future award, and the OnCon Top 10 Technology Professionals award. His teams have also been named OnCon Technology Team of the Year twice.
Pritam holds a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bengal Institute of Technology, India, and a postgraduate diploma in Data Science and Business Analytics from the University of Texas at Austin. He is based in Katy, Texas, with his family.
