Bio
Beatrice Nelson-Beer is a senior executive and board-level leader in the direct selling industry, currently serving her second term as Chairperson of Seldia, the European direct selling association. Re-elected in November 2024, she plays a key role in shaping industry advocacy at the European level, leading strategic engagement with policymakers and stakeholders to support regulatory clarity and sustainable growth for the sector.
With over a decade of executive leadership experience, Beatrice is recognised for her expertise in governance, regulatory strategy, and cross-functional leadership. She currently serves as Chief Legal Officer at Lifeplus, where she oversees global legal affairs, regulatory compliance, and European HR functions. In this role, she is part of the executive leadership team, contributing to strategic decision-making and supporting the company’s expansion across Europe and international markets including Asia.
Her career reflects a steady progression into senior leadership roles with increasing responsibility. She began in 2011 as EU Legal Manager at Lifeplus, where she established the company’s European legal framework. She then joined Centrica (British Gas) in London as Legal Counsel for Business Markets Energy Supply, advising on complex commercial and regulatory matters. In 2016, she became the first General Counsel at PM-International AG, later advancing to Chief Legal Officer and joining the Executive Board.
Across her career, Beatrice has combined legal expertise with strategic leadership, contributing to regulatory alignment, organisational performance, and business growth at both corporate and industry levels.
