Rehmah Kasule is a global executive leader, institution builder, author, and Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) with more than two decades of experience mobilizing capital, strengthening organizations, and developing leaders across Africa and the wider development sector.

She is the Founder and President of CEDA International, which she established in 2007. Under her leadership, the organization grew from a single initiative into a multi-country institution that has directly reached more than 280,000 children, young people, and women through programs in education, entrepreneurship, leadership development, and economic empowerment.

Throughout her career, Rehmah has helped mobilize more than USD 100 million in philanthropic and blended capital and has advised organizations stewarding portfolios exceeding USD 500 million. Her work has brought her into sustained collaboration with some of the most influential institutions and funders in global development, including the MacArthur Foundation, Mastercard Foundation, LEGO Foundation, Pivotal Ventures, the Islamic Development Bank, and the African Development Bank.

She currently serves on the boards of Right To Play, StrongMinds, and World Connect Inc, contributing strategic and governance leadership to organizations advancing education, youth workforce development, gender, mental health, and community development globally.

A Harvard Advanced Leadership Initiative Fellow, Rehmah holds a career-long conviction that the strongest institutions are those that become increasingly capable of serving others over time, independent of any single individual. This belief shapes how she advises boards, designs organizations, and invests in leaders. Through her writing, mentoring, and governance work, she contributes to global conversations on institution building, philanthropic strategy, and the leadership conditions necessary for sustainable development in Africa and beyond.
