Prof. Dr. Parin Somani is an internationally recognised academic scholar, educator, author, humanitarian, philanthropist, motivational speaker, and advocate for education, women’s empowerment, and youth development. She is the Founder and CEO of the London Organisation of Skills Development (LOSD), United Kingdom, and Chief Editor of the Global Research Journal.

Her journey reflects resilience, service, and a commitment to creating meaningful social impact. After overcoming life-threatening cancer and temporary vision loss, she transformed adversity into a mission to inspire hope and create opportunities for others. In 2022, she founded LOSD as an international platform promoting lifelong learning, research, professional development, publishing, innovation, and global collaboration.

Prof. Dr. Somani holds two doctoral degrees in Leadership and Media Communication and has received six honorary doctorates for her humanitarian and philanthropic contributions. She supervises and examines doctoral students at Lincoln University College, Malaysia, has authored 24 books and numerous academic publications, and has delivered four TEDx talks. She has also delivered keynote addresses at prestigious institutions and international events, inspiring audiences through her leadership and dedication to positive change.

Having travelled to more than 129 countries, she has contributed to communities through initiatives focused on education, women’s empowerment, and youth development. Her achievements also extend to pageantry and sport, including Mrs India 2021, Mrs BritAsian 2021, Mrs Enigma World 2022, and Mrs India Globe 2025, alongside participation and recognition in cycling, golf, kho-kho, and kabaddi.

Often described by supporters as the “Iron Lady of the 21st Century,” Prof. Dr. Somani continues to demonstrate how courage, compassion, education, and collaboration can contribute to lasting global change.
