Philip Geoffrey Oakman, Managing Director of Information Science Research Pty. Ltd., is a distinguished technology executive, entrepreneur, and strategic leader. Throughout his career across IT and financial services, he has consistently engineered market-defining architectures. Prior to launching his own ventures in 2016, Philip led the design and development of novel financial products generating over $50 billion AUD in investment inflows.

Complementing his commercial leadership, Philip is a staunch advocate for equity; in 2012, he was formally recognized by the Financial Services Union (FSU) for his organizing, media, and legal advocacy on behalf of betrayed finance industry workers.

As an entrepreneur, he co-founded ventures in consumer energy and accounting compliance AI, scaling both to strategic exits exceeding $100 million within three years of inception. His compliance AI platform achieved a landmark 2024 exit and was named "Best New Accounting Software" by a prestigious international publication. Today, at Information Science Research Pty Ltd, Philip leads foundational R&D, collaborating with the University of Wollongong’s Department of Computer Science to advance breakthroughs in efficient multi-key homomorphic encryption (MKHE) and AI, which has yielded a co-authored provisional patent with multiple novel claims.

Philip holds a Bachelor of Mathematics covering Computer Science and Philosophy from the University of Wollongong and an MBA from the University of Sydney.
