Majed Salem Al Shehhi is a licensed Air Traffic Controller at Global Air Navigation Services (GANS), with more than a decade of experience in one of the aviation industry’s most demanding and safety-critical professions. His career reflects a steadfast commitment to operational excellence, discipline, safety, and continuous professional development.
Majed began his journey with GANS as an Air Traffic Control Assistant before progressing to the role of Air Traffic Control Officer in Approach Control. His development required intensive technical training, operational assessments, and extensive practical experience. Through perseverance, strong performance, and an unwavering commitment to aviation safety, he successfully advanced through each stage of qualification to earn his Air Traffic Control rating.
Today, Majed serves as a licensed Air Traffic Controller at Al Dhafra Air Base in Abu Dhabi, operating within a complex military aviation environment where precision, situational awareness, and sound decision-making are essential. In this high-responsibility setting, he contributes to the safe, orderly, and efficient movement of military aircraft while upholding rigorous standards of air traffic management.
