Aamir Hussain is Chief Technology, Product Officer & Senior Vice President at Liberty Latin America, where he leads the Technology & Innovation organization across the company’s operations in Latin America and the Caribbean. Appointed in April 2022, he is responsible for network platforms, information technology, cybersecurity, product development, and technology performance, with a clear focus on improving customer experience and enabling sustainable business growth.

Aamir is an international technology executive with more than 30 years of experience across the cable, wireless, cloud, and telecommunications industries. Before joining Liberty Latin America, he served as Chief Product Officer and Senior Vice President at Verizon Business. His career also includes senior executive and technology leadership positions at CenturyLink, Liberty Global, Collinear Networks, Covad Communications, TELUS, Qwest, BellSouth, Samsung, and Motorola. He has also contributed as an investor, adviser, and board member in the technology, media, and telecommunications sector.

At Liberty Latin America, Aamir has led a broad transformation agenda spanning network modernization, resilience, digital products, artificial intelligence, cloud services, and operating-model evolution. Under his leadership, the company enabled gigabit speeds across 98% of its network, built or upgraded approximately 156,000 homes during 2025, expanded 5G, strengthened disaster-recovery capabilities, and introduced mobile and satellite-based connectivity solutions designed to protect service continuity.

His leadership philosophy connects technology investment directly to customer and business outcomes. This is reflected in initiatives spanning AI-enabled customer care, network automation, enterprise ICT and cloud services, resilient broadband, satellite connectivity, and simplified entertainment experiences.
