In February 2025, Lula Mohanty was announced as the Managing Partner for IBM Consulting in the Middle East and Africa, based in the UAE. She previously served as the Global Managing Partner for Strategic Sales at IBM Consulting, where she was responsible for driving large-scale transformational initiatives with enterprises across multiple industries worldwide.

Organizations are moving from experimenting with artificial intelligence to embedding it at the core of how they operate, scaling AI across enterprise functions, modernizing the data and hybrid cloud foundations it depends on, redesigning operating models around it, and reskilling their workforce for it. Lula's mandate is to help clients design and execute these strategies in collaboration with ecosystem partners. This is a multi-trillion-dollar industry, and IBM Consulting works with hundreds of leading organizations globally.

Lula has been with IBM for 25 years, holding various leadership roles across geographies. She managed IBM Consulting's Asia Pacific P&L from 2018 to 2023, based in Singapore. Prior to that, she led IBM's consulting business in India and South Asia between 2015 and 2018, returning the region to revenue and profit growth and driving several landmark transformations. She also oversaw IBM Consulting's global delivery centres in India and the Philippines, managing IT and process outsourcing services, operational excellence, and contractual performance metrics.

Lula serves as the executive sponsor for an enterprise-wide IBM transformation program aimed at standardizing processes, tools, and platforms across all verticals to improve productivity and deliver savings exceeding a billion dollars. She is a member of IBM's Chairman's Performance Team and Client Leadership Team, which shape IBM's strategy, growth, and transformation.

Recognized as an Industry Diamond in IBM's Industry Academy, Lula is an influential voice in the banking sector. She is also actively involved in industry forums and initiatives focused on supply chain transformation, diversity and inclusion, and women's empowerment.
