Vidya Malkani is a procurement and supply chain professional with more than two decades of experience helping organizations strengthen procurement capability and drive sustainable business value. Based in the UAE, she has worked extensively across the GCC and international markets, partnering with organizations across diverse sectors to evolve procurement functions in line with strategic and operational priorities.

She is the Founder and Managing Partner of VMC Consulting, an advisory firm focused on procurement transformation, digital enablement, governance frameworks, and capability building. Vidya is known for her practical, structured approach, bridging strategy and execution to help teams simplify complexity, improve decision-making, and embed long-term value beyond traditional cost reduction.

Vidya also led the development of VMX, a digital platform designed to make procurement tools, insights, and best practices more accessible and scalable. Through this initiative, she continues to explore how technology, data, and standardization can support consistent, value-led procurement operations.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (FCIPS), Vidya actively contributes to advancing professional standards within the field. She is a regular speaker at industry forums and conferences on topics including procurement transformation, digital maturity, strategic negotiations, and operating model design.
