Bio

Dr. Deepak Muchhala is a highly respected authority in restorative, aesthetic, and implant dentistry with over 40 years of clinical, academic, and leadership experience. A graduate of Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai, he pursued advanced international education, earning a Master’s in Conservative & Aesthetic Dentistry from Baylor College, Texas, an M.Sc. in Implantology from Goethe University, Frankfurt, and advanced training in occlusion from The Dawson Academy, USA.


He runs a state-of-the-art dental practice in Mumbai, specializing in smile design, implantology, and digital dentistry with in-house CAD-CAM technology. Dr. Muchhala also serves as Consultant Dentist at Bhartiya Arogya Nidhi Hospital and Stoma Dental, and previously consulted at Breach Candy Hospital for ten years.


A former President of the Indian Dental Association (Mumbai) and current Treasurer of the IDA (Head Office), he is one of eight official delegates representing India at the FDI World Dental Federation. He is a Founder Member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry of India, Past Chairman of the Pierre Fauchard Academy (India), and Associate Editor of the Indian section of the ADA Journal.


An acclaimed educator and international speaker, Dr. Muchhala lectures to thousands of dentists annually and pioneered India’s only one-year Fellowship in Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry with MUHS. His honors include the Pierre Fauchard Academy International Honour, two Guinness World Records, and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Forttuna Global Excellence Awards, recognizing his enduring contribution to dentistry and public health.
